- The Association founded in 1956, shall be known as the Cornwall Veteran Ladies County Golf Association.
- OBJECT
To provide opportunities for friendly meetings, both golf and social. - The association shall compromise of full members of affiliated Cornish Golf Clubs; minimum age of entry is 60 years by 31st of January of the current year.
The affiliation fee shall be £5.00 per year; this can be reviewed and altered by the Officers of the Association.
The fees shall be collected by each club’s delegate by the 1st February of each year and paid to the Treasurer ideally via BACS.
Each delegate shall maintain a list of fully paid members together with their CDH and telephone numbers. This must be given to the Treasurer and Captain of the Association at the first meeting of the year. - Officers of the Association

The Officers of the Association shall be eligible for election at the Annual General Meeting, which will be held at the autumn meeting. Officers shall serve for a period of 2 years, with the exception of the Secretary and Treasurer, whose term of Office can be extended up to 5 years.
Proposals for debate and discussion made at the AGM will normally come via the delegates and must be received by the secretary one month before the meeting. Each club will have one vote on all issues. - Delegates meetings
Delegates meeting shall be held twice a year, in February and June dates to be fixed by the Secretary in association with the Captain. The Officers of the Association and a delegate of each affiliated golf club attends the meeting. The quorum shall compromise 40% of the total number of serving officers and delegates. - Spring and Autumn meetings
The venues for these meetings are selected by the Captain. The Captain is responsible for arranging fees, numbers and catering at the chosen venues. Posters of these events, prepared by the Secretary in consultation with the Captain, shall be ready to be given to the affiliated clubs at the relevant delegates meeting. Both competitions include first and second divisions, VV(70 years and over) and VVV(80 years and over). Any change in the format for these meetings shall be decided by the delegates (after consultation with their respective club members) as shall be the means of selection for the qualifier for the championships. - Matches
The Captain shall arrange inter-county matches against Devon,and Somerset.
The Captain will liaise with the Cornwall Ladies Captains Golfing Society to arrange a match annually.
The pairings for matches to consist of one Silver and one Bronze player.
The Captain shall be responsible for arranging all venues and meals for matches played in Cornwall.
Out of County travelling expenses for matches shall be met out of Association funds. A minimum of two people per car is expected to be paid for full travelling expenses. - Expenses
The Secretary and Treasurer will be paid expenses incurred throughout the year. - Dissolution
In the event of the Association ceasing to exist, any funds remaining after the satisfaction of the liabilities shall be used to further the cause of Women’s golf and may be given to any organisation used for this purpose.
